Media Drift is an event series that consists of audio/visual performances tied to the creative use of media technologies. The aim of Media Drift is to create a community where people working across media, artistically or conceptually, can come together, learn from each other, and hone in on the creative outputs of their peers.
Media Drift offers a glance into the experimental media scene within Berlin’s cultural landscape. This edition has been curated by the Berlin-based multidisciplinary collective co:evolve.

About the artists:
1. Ale Rios (Audio) x Synthezia (Visual)
Alejandra is a Mexican sound designer, multimedia artist, and researcher working as a Producer and 4DSOUND Engineer at MONOM Studios. Her practice focuses on spatial and immersive sound, combining creative exploration with technical development across multichannel systems and experimental audio tools. Working from within the creative process, she engages with sound as both material and medium, exploring the voice and other sonic elements as ways of shaping perception and experience. Her artistic work moves between the imaginary and the poetic, using fragmented and spatial soundscapes to create dreamlike environments that invite listeners into states of ambiguity and in-betweenness.
Synthezia is a visual artist and VJ creating immersive visual experiences that fuse sound, motion and digital form.
By combining video, 3D environments and real-time visuals, she crafts worlds that blur the line between reality and imagination. Her work is driven by rhythm and space, moving seamlessly between club culture, live performances and contemporary media art contexts
2. Mizuki (Audio) x Federico Torres (Visual)
Mizuki Ishikawa is a Berlin-based improviser and sound artist. In her improvisations with objects and DIY electronics, she manipulates the acoustic environment of a space using everyday objects and feedback techniques, while exploring the conditions of performance through simple gestures and ordinary activities. Through improvisation, Mizuki aims to integrate the space, the audience, herself and time into a cohesive experience.
Federico Torres is a new media artist using generative, procedural, and modular techniques to develop visuals. He explores both computer-generated images as well as digitally manipulated real-life footage. His work is a constant cascade of digital synthesis blurring the edge between scenes and pixels.
3. Auratyk (Audio Visual)
Audio-visual artist teasing the threshold between the Digital and the Organic, through the lens of the fallibility of memory. They base their creations in glittery particle systems parked upon glitchy, granulated sounds, both designed and derived from the spaces they inhabit.
4. ..o (Audio) x Oman Sound (Visual)
..o is a live noise/drone duo formed by Hari Krishna and Ashley Maurice from Bangalore, India. Their live shows tend to be almost ritualistic and devotional to something you cannot quite put your finger on. Drawing inspiration from their Indian roots, they deconstruct the way a song was conceived in the ancient times over a droning, slow moving anchor tone to support their emotional paintbrush and bring this process to the present using electronic methods of distorting the source sounds.

Oman Sounds is an interdisciplinary and experimental multimedia artist exploring structures and environments that blend science and technology with abstract design. His work engages with photorealism in the 3D landscape, architecting a distinctive aesthetic he calls “FutureBio.” Through this concept, he experiments with unconventional organic structures and materials, investigating forms that blur the boundaries between the synthetic and the natural
