⊱༒︎ • seventhfield • ༒︎⊰ is a series of events focused around collaboration and interdisciplinarity. Through collaboration and a vast network we seek to connect artists embracing the full range of the spectrum of the performing arts.
seventhfield brings together artists from different disciplines without being tied to a fixed location or a fixed format. Each edition finds its own home and eventually leaves it behind. What remains is what could only have emerged through collaboration.
There are moments when something emerges from collective action that no one could have created alone. Something that did not exist before the encounter began and disappears once it ends. Philosophy calls this emergence. We call it the seventhfield.
There are six familiar fields that describe us both individually and collectively: the physical, the cognitive, the emotional, the social, the creative, and the spatial. The seventh opens only through genuine collaboration, often fleeting, usually unique, and therefore indispensable. Throughout history, seven has marked the step beyond the known: seven notes before the octave repeats, seven colors before light becomes white again.
With seventhfield, co:evolve seeks to invite everyone to truly listen, to truly see, and to be fully present, so that together we may enter what remains inaccessible alone.
