Wiedereröffnung der B.L.O. Kantine
Nach über einem Jahr Bauarbeiten, Stillstand und bürokratischen Kämpfen mit Senat, Bahn und Bezirksamt öffnet die Kantine im B.L.O. Gelände wieder. Die Location wird ab sofort vom neuen B.L.O. Kantine Kollektiv betrieben – ein Zusammenschluss aus Techniker:innen, Musiker:innen, DJs und Veranstalter:innen aus verschiedenen Berliner Netzwerken (u. a. Kitchen Leg, East Side Delta, S7G, Brainbowl, amSTARt).

Hintergrund:
Die Veranstaltung ist Teil einer Solidaritätskampagne zur Finanzierung der nötigen Umbaumaßnahmen. Nur so kann das aktuelle Nutzungsverbot durch die Deutsche Bahn aufgehoben und der Betrieb der Kantine dauerhaft gesichert werden – u. a. für das geplante B.L.O.-Festival im September.

B.L.O. Kantine Re-Opening
After more than a year of renovations and negotiations with the city and Deutsche Bahn, the Kantine at the B.L.O. Ateliers is reopening. The space is now run by the new B.L.O. Kantine Kollektiv – a group of techs, musicians, DJs, and event organizers from across Berlin (e.g. Kitchen Leg, East Side Delta, S7G, Brainbowl, amSTARt).

Why it matters:
The event supports the ongoing renovation work. All proceeds go toward lifting the current usage ban imposed by Deutsche Bahn. The goal is to fully reopen the venue by early September – in time for the B.L.O. Gelände Festival.
