ISOSCOPE

isoscope is a Berlin based band that was formed in 2018. They released their debut album “Ten Pieces” in 2022 and their sophomore album “Conclusive Mess” was released in Nov 2023 – both via the Berlin label Noisolution. Pulling from, post-punk, math- and indie-rock, isoscope creates a vast, harsh, yet colorful soundscape of ever-changing songs, all the while infusing it with joyous experimentation.

PAINTING

Painting ist eine neue Band mit Mitgliedern von Soft Grid und Golden Diskó Ship. Sie spielen Synth Pop/Avant Kraut/Noise Jazz. Ihr Debütalbum »Painting Is Dead« auf dem Label Antime umfasst fünf Stücke, die eine Tür hin zu digitalen Räumen eröffnen, welche das Publikum über die Länge der Songs hinweg erkunden kann. Gemeinsam mit der Medienkünstlerin Paula Reissig hat die Gruppe ein dreiteiliges Projekt lanciert, das als von der Multimedia-Künstlerin gestaltetes Computerspiel, als hybride und audio-visuelle Live-Show sowie auf Schallplatte erfahrbar gemacht wird, wobei die Vinyl-Version die physische Welt mit virtuellen Realitäten genauso wie analoge Medien mit den Möglichkeiten digitaler Technologien engführt. Auf Basis einer breiten musikalischen Palette, die experimentellen Rock und elektronische Avantgarde-Klänge ebenso umfasst wie unkonventionelle Pop- und Jazz-Ansätze bietet das Album »Painting Is Dead« eine vielschichtige musikalische Mischung, die sich nahtlos in das Gesamtprojekt integriert und doch für sich steht.

Mirrors For Princes reimagine alternative music for Gen-Z. Following their formation in Europe’s hotbed of hedonism, the duo emerged onto Berlin’s local scene enveloped in enigma. From dance punk anthems and high-octane power pop to moody trip-hop, the band’s love for stark juxtapositions breaks down the barriers between pop and underground, nostalgia and futurism, irony and sincerity. With the help of Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Editors), the band’s in the middle of writing their debut LP.
