HIER & JETZT: Connections lädt zu TISSUES ein – kollektive Intervention, soziales Experiment und Workshop mit dem Künstler Juan Camilo Alfonso
Wenn Sie für jede Bindung eine Farbe wählen könnten, die Sie mit jemand anderem verbindet, welche Farbe wäre das? Welche Textur hätte es? Wie schwer wäre es?
Juan Camilo Alfonso wird die Teilnehmer durch TISSUES führen, wo sie die Materialität dieser Bindungen untersuchen und ihnen durch Spielen eine physische Dimension und Ordnung verleihen. Dabei wird der Körper als Säule verwendet, um diese Bindungen zu verbinden und ein Feld voller Bindungen zu schaffen. Die Aktion wird deutlich machen, wie diese Verbindungen die Strukturen aufbauen und den Bewegungsumfang einer Gruppe auf persönlicher und gesellschaftlicher Ebene bestimmen.
Können wir lernen, durch Kunst als Ganzes miteinander verbundenes soziales Wesen zu funktionieren?
Juan Camilo Alfonso ist ein in Kolumbien geborener Künstler, der sich auf Kunst im öffentlichen Raum und partizipative Projekte konzentriert. Vor kurzem hat er sein Masterstudium „Kunst im Kontext“ an der Universität der Künste Berlin (UDK) abgeschlossen und arbeitet heute als Kunstlehrer in Berlin und Bernau.

HIER & JETZT: Connections invites to TISSUES – Collective Action, Social Experiment with artist Juan Camilo Alfonso
If you could choose a color for each bond that unites you with someone else, which color would that be? What texture would it have? How heavy would it be?
Juan Camilo Alfonso will guide participants through TISSUES, where they will explore the materiality of these bonds, giving them a physical dimension and order through play- using the body as a pillar to connect those bonds creating a field full of them. The action will make evident how these connections build the structures and determine the range of movement of a group on a personal and societal level.
Can we learn how to function as a whole interconnected social-being through art?
Juan Camilo Alfonso is a colombian born artist, focusing on Public Art and participatory projects. He recently finished his master studies “Art in Context” at the University of the Arts Berlin – UDK, and now works as an art teacher in Berlin and Bernau.
