UNMEASUREMENT richtet den Blick auf Messvorgänge, ihre Ungenauigkeiten und deren mögliches Scheitern. Dieser Logik folgend, wird in der Performance das permanente Ringen um die Aufrechterhaltung stabiler (Mess-)Systeme mitten in einer kaum greifbaren Welt formuliert.
Durch ein choreographisches Skript aus akrobatischen Bewegungen, Lichtexperimenten und der Manipulation und Verstärkung von Objekten werden die Grundkräfte der Physik und unsere Risikobereitschaftuntersucht. Die Performerinnen versuchen eine Art Inversion der Messung sichtbar zu machen hin zu einer Multiplikation der Möglichkeiten, einer Poetik des Undefinierten.

UNMEASUREMENT focuses on inaccuracies, the failure of the measuring process. Following the logic of measuring, marking and constructing, the research express the underlying difficulties of an unmeasurable world and the beauty of the indeterminable.Through dance, acrobatic and balancing movements the basic forces of physics and our willingness to take risks are examined and choreographed. Across objectmanipulations, projections and musical explorations, the performers develop a kind of inversion of measurement – towards a multiplication of possibilities, a poetics of the indefinite.
